Outer Walls

The forms were removed today. We can now see the outer walls. Looking forward to what comes next. We are wondering if they will pour the foundation or begin framing.

Foundation

Surprise, surprise. I drove past the property this afternoon after picking up the kids and saw the forms up. Glen and I went back later and found that hey had poured the cement. The foundation is in place. I am sure the forms will come off early next week and the framing will begin.

Footings

The rain held out and the crew did the footings today. The outline of the house is now there. Reality is setting in. Framing should start next week.

The Beginning

Today I drove past the property. There was a truck moving dirt on the lot. I have no idea what he was doing. The ground should be dry enough that tomorrow that actually start digging the foundation. I never thought this day would happen. Now I have to patient and wait.
